After morning rain went down a bit before 1pm. Pete (and Sally) had been watching the offshore wind slowly swing around so he rigged 5m and me 5.2m. After about half an hour I admitted I was overpowered and changed to 4.7m and headed over to the Golf. Rollers were very good and the wind shadow helped as I was still over powered at times. Headed back to Dip and wind dropped to back on 5.2m until it finally dropped after nearly 3 hours on the water. Paul, Darren, Ian and Phil gave it a go too; Rog and Paul went to Fludyers as a bit too offshore at Dip, but it was just about OK. Sea was very nice with rollers with chop only appearing at the end a couple of hours after high tide.
